The Directorate of Finance, Personnel and IT provides a variety of internal city services and supplies central resources. The Immobilien Stadt Bern department manages and oversees the extensive municipal property portfolio.
What you will achieve
- You are responsible for quality assurance and marketing of the building plots in Viererfeld and Mittelfeld and handle all land transactions (e.g. sales and building rights grants) including budget management.
- You coordinate the sub-projects of Immobilien Stadt Bern (quality assurance, marketing, land transactions, use/operation) and integrate them into the overall project.
- You represent the city’s interests as landowner vis-à-vis all parties involved and in the overall project management team, from strategic planning to commissioning.
- You support the overall project management with property law questions and deputise for them if necessary.
- You prepare applications and statements for commissions, the municipal council and the city council.
What you bring
- You have completed a university or university of applied sciences degree in a relevant field (e.g. architecture, civil engineering, real estate economics, spatial planning or law).
- Ideally, you have further training in real estate economics (CAS/MAS) and bring several years of professional experience in the planning, construction or real estate sector, ideally in site and project development.
- You have practical experience in real estate marketing, contract management, property transactions and building law (public building law and building rights contracts).
- You have experience in leading project teams, coordinating specialist planners and managing budgets.
- You negotiate skilfully, handle different stakeholder groups confidently and work precisely and in a structured manner.
- You communicate strongly in spoken and written form, write applications and reports confidently and understand political processes and cooperation with authorities.
