Responsibility for the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure with a focus on server landscapes, virtualisation, data storage and backup solutions.
Support of IT workplaces and end devices from installation through configuration to ongoing maintenance including connected peripherals.
Management of user identities and access rights as well as ensuring controlled and reliable resource allocation.
Taking over 1st and 2nd level support including systematic fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and traceable documentation.
Development and maintenance of automation solutions, participation in infrastructure projects and ensuring system availability within the framework of the rotating on-call service.
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training in computer science or several years of practical experience in a comparable ICT function.
Good knowledge of workplace technologies, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, storage and backup as well as their operation and maintenance.
Very good German skills and the ability to understand and write technical documentation and information in English.
Ideally experience with PowerShell, Terraform or Ansible as well as with connecting local IT systems and Microsoft Azure.
Analytical and networked thinking, precise and independent working style, high commitment as well as a category B driving licence.
Workplace and residence: The position is not remote and requires on-site work. A residence in Switzerland, willingness to relocate to Switzerland or work as a cross-border commuter is required.
