For the Human Resources Department in Basel, we are looking for a committed and experienced individual as HR Assistant (100%) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Our six-member HR team accompanies and supports our project teams and business departments in all personnel matters. In an international, creative and project-oriented environment, we work together to ensure that our employees are professionally cared for and that our HR processes function reliably.
For this versatile role, we are looking for a pragmatic, meticulous and proactive person who enjoys taking responsibility, has a passion for people and administrative precision, and wishes to develop professionally.
Your tasks:
- You support the HR team in the entire personnel administration – from contracts, changes and references to careful digital and physical filing.
- You participate in recruiting processes, communicate with applicants and coordinate interviews.
- In addition, you organise and accompany onboarding and offboarding and contribute to ensuring that these processes are well prepared and professionally implemented for all involved.
- Another focus is the management of time and absence systems, including holiday planning and time tracking. You prepare HR evaluations and reports, support internal projects and contribute your ideas to the continuous development of our processes.
In doing so, you actively shape your role and work closely with the entire HR team.
Your profile:
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by further training as an HR Assistant or experience in human resources.
- You bring at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable HR assistant role and feel comfortable in a service-oriented, dynamic environment.
- You work independently, in a structured and very reliable manner. You keep an overview even with various parallel tasks, act discreetly and carefully, and have a strong sense of accuracy. At the same time, you communicate openly, friendly and reliably and enjoy working in a team.
- You are proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HR software as well as time and absence systems is an advantage.
- You communicate fluently in German and English. Additional language skills are welcome.
- An interest in architecture or experience in a project-based, international environment rounds off your profile.
You can expect a responsible position in an internationally influenced, multicultural and creative working environment.
We offer space to contribute your experience, to further develop your role together with the team and to continuously expand your HR knowledge.
If you enjoy working, take pleasure in reliably advancing matters, and wish to develop long-term within a committed team, we look forward to receiving your complete application documents quoting reference B26-16. Please use our application form for your online application.
