About the job
Our Team
Are you looking for a leadership role where you develop people, provide guidance, and at the same time stay close to operational implementation?
For the Scrum Master group in the Execution Excellence Management department, we are seeking a strong leader with a passion for people, agile working methods, and sustainable change.
Our Scrum Master Chapter is currently in a demanding phase. Different expectations, role understandings, and working methods require clear leadership, structure, and a shared vision. At the same time, it is important to us that leadership is not detached from the teams' daily work. Therefore, you will also actively work as a Scrum Master in a pod and bring your experience directly into daily collaboration.
The Role
As Chapter Lead Scrum Master, you take on a combined leadership and implementation role. Your focus is on the personnel and professional leadership of the Scrum Masters in the chapter as well as active Scrum Master work in a pod. You are a sparring partner, coach, point of orientation, and source of inspiration for your employees as well as for your pod members.
Your tasks include in particular:
- Personnel and professional leadership of the Scrum Masters in the chapter as well as active development, support, and accompaniment of employees in their role
- Working as a Scrum Master in a pod with responsibility for agile collaboration, transparency
and continuous improvement - Creating clarity about expectations, responsibilities, standards, and collaboration within the chapter
- Identifying and addressing conflicts, tensions, and blockages within the chapter as well as in your own pod
- Strengthening self-responsibility, effectiveness, and professional role understanding of the Scrum Masters
- Further development of common standards, methods, and quality requirements in agile working
- Ensuring that Scrum Masters effectively support their teams and contribute to continuous improvement
What We Expect
- Completed education at university or university of applied sciences level with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Organisational Development, or a comparable field
- Recognised certification as a Scrum Master (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster CSM, Professional Scrum Master PSM II, or comparable certification)
- Further training or certification in leadership, coaching, or change management
- Several years of practical experience as a Scrum Master in an agile team or pod
- Willingness and motivation to actively contribute as a Scrum Master alongside the leadership role
- Experience in handling demanding team or leadership situations
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and at the same time the ability to set clear expectations
- High resilience, assertiveness, and willingness to embrace change
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
Our Offer
- Attractive employment conditions with extensive benefits
