The Swiss Wine Trade Control is an ISO-accredited inspection body located in close proximity to Zürich-Stettbach train station (Dübendorf/ZH). It inspects vintners and wine trade businesses in Switzerland on behalf of the federal government. To complement the team, we are looking for a

Scientific Assistant French/German

Your challenge

• Verification of the compliance of inspected businesses with cantonal, federal and international legal frameworks
• Processing inspection reports and drafting inspection findings
• Writing correspondence with customers and authorities
• Supporting inspectors working in the field
• Supporting management with technical clarifications
• Cooperating with cantonal and federal authorities

Your profile

• Master craftsman certificate or Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: food/beverage industry, viticulture or wine trade.
• Knowledge in viticulture and wine trade, as well as in accounting and bookkeeping is an advantage; experience in organic farming is an asset.
• You work independently, precisely and punctually.
• You have strong self-organisation skills.
• You have a quick grasp and a good sense of logical connections.
• You can edit even complex matters flawlessly.
• Ideally, you are experienced in interpreting relevant legal bases.
• You are a team player and possess excellent communication skills.
• High service orientation and discretion are a matter of course for you.

Native French or German speaker with excellent oral and written knowledge of the other language is essential for this position. Knowledge of Italian is desirable.
