Role:
As an Infrastructure & Systems Engineer, you keep the bridge between classic IT and production-related OT technology stable. Server landscapes, clients, and identity management run reliably because you have control over operations. Cloud topics, network technology, and virtualisation are part of your daily routine, as is tracking down new technology trends. This position suits someone who values personal responsibility and enjoys delving into a variety of technical issues.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the operation, installation, and support of Windows servers and clients as well as access and identity management
You take on vulnerability and patch management for all IT and OT systems
You support specialised hardware in the IT and OT areas, from office printers to label printers
You advise on and implement solutions around Microsoft 365, network technology (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet), and VMware virtualisation
You monitor the threat landscape, further develop IT security, and develop appropriate measures
Additionally, you coordinate IT projects and provide solution-oriented support, both remotely and on-site
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with a focus on system technology or platform development
You bring initial to several years of experience in system or application operations
You possess solid knowledge in several areas such as Windows Client, Windows Server, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet, or PowerShell
Complex technical problems motivate you and you tackle them with perseverance
Independent, structured working and a high sense of responsibility are among your strengths
Additionally, you bring networked thinking, service orientation, and good German language skills
