On behalf of our client based in Granges-Paccot, we are looking for an Infrastructure System Engineer (m/f/d) responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of the IT infrastructure of a power plant in a critical high-availability environment..
Your mission
- Ensure the administration, maintenance, and development of server infrastructures and associated services in an On-Premise environment.
- Guarantee the security, reliability, and availability of systems, particularly under Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and PostgreSQL.
- Participate in infrastructure monitoring as well as the diagnosis and resolution of level 2 and 3 incidents.
- Contribute to infrastructure evolution and modernisation projects, notably around Active Directory, Graylog, and containerised OpenShift environments.
- Document the architectures and solutions implemented and participate, as needed, in the 24/7 IT on-call rotation approximately once every 7 weeks, with the ability to intervene within a 30-minute radius.
Your profile
- Higher education in computer science at HES, University, EPF level, federal certificate or diploma, or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in administering critical production systems, with excellent mastery of Windows client and server environments and their On-Premise integration; experience in an emergency services environment is an asset.
- Excellent command of PostgreSQL and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, complemented by proven experience with OpenShift and containerisation.
- Very good knowledge of server infrastructures, Active Directory, logging and monitoring tools such as Graylog, as well as security and network principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication in French, technical knowledge of German and English, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to occasionally lead technical projects; clean criminal record and ability to pass the required security check. Residence in French-speaking Switzerland.
