Who we are

The SailerClinic is a specialised private clinic for oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery in Zurich. We operate on jaws, face and nose – reconstructively after accidents and illnesses as well as aesthetically, on an outpatient basis and in our own operating theatre. We are a small team with short communication paths and doctors you know personally.

Who we are looking for

Our clinic is growing, and so is the billing. That is why we are looking for an experienced professional who independently manages and shapes our service billing. With us, you are not one of many in a large billing department, but the person everyone relies on.

Your tasks

• Record services and issue invoices to health insurance companies (KVG), accident insurance (UVG), IV, military insurance and private patients
• Assign services to the correct tariff: TARDOC, outpatient flat rate or dental tariff UV/MV/IV
• Write cost approvals and follow up until a response is received
• Prepare cost estimates for private patients
• Manage open items, reconcile payments and send reminders
• Contact person for insurers, patients and our doctors regarding billing questions

Your profile

• Training as MPA, medical, hospital or dental secretary or commercial training
• At least two to three years of experience in medical service billing, e.g. in a hospital, with a health insurance company or accident insurance or in a surgical practice
• Confident knowledge of TARDOC and outpatient flat rates
• Dental tariff UV/MV/IV
• Familiar with MiGeL, specialty list and laboratory invoices
• Precise, independent working style and persistence to follow up on open invoices until completion
• Knowledge of ametiq is a plus but not a must
