In the Presidential Directorate, the threads of politics, administration and the public come together. Hochbau Stadt Bern is the centre of expertise for the planning and project management of public buildings with high architectural and urban quality and for competitions.
What you will achieve
- Take on overall project management on the client side for construction projects, being responsible for costs, deadlines and services
- Lead external and internal planning teams and coordinate the different requirements
- Prepare project definitions, credit applications and reports for the responsible political bodies
- Review assigned building portfolio and plan maintenance measures
- Prepare condition analyses with renovation recommendations and rough cost estimates
What you bring
- Education as an architect ETH/FH or equivalent
- Several years of experience in client-side project management desirable
- Confident architectural judgement and interest in political processes
- Solution-oriented, independent personality with a sense of responsibility and negotiation skills
- Very good oral and written communication skills
