The Legal Service supports and advises the departments and divisions of the municipality of Glarus on legal matters. It contributes to legally secure task fulfilment and accompanies the administration in clarifying and assessing legal issues as well as in handling legal transactions and procedures.

What we expect

• Support and advice on all legal questions, especially regarding the design of procedural and administrative processes / provision of legal information for the administration
• Drafting legal opinions and legal documents
• Developing ordinances
• Contract review / contract management
• Legal representation and support of the municipal clerk
• Monitoring and/or accompanying strategic projects and internal administrative initiatives
  

What you bring

• Completed university degree in law
• Proven knowledge of administrative law and contract law as well as procedural and administrative processes
• Skillful use of IT applications in the administrative field
• Ability to present legal facts clearly
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Impeccable reputation and discretion
