What you can achieve

• Operate, maintain and further develop security-relevant ICT systems and services of the Swiss Army
• Management of client/server infrastructures with Windows and virtualised environments
• Ensure software distribution, installations on specific environments as well as maintenance windows
• Coordinate releases and deployments with application managers and software suppliers
• Participate in incident management (2nd and 3rd level support)
• Ensure and update system documentation, instructions and checklists

What you bring with you

• Education or higher vocational training in the field of computer science, alternatively career changer with comparable professional experience in ICT specialist application operation
• Profound knowledge in software and operating systems, especially Windows and Windows Server
• Experience with PowerShell scripts in application and operational environments
• Good knowledge of the ITIL process landscape and preferably experience with agile methods
• Independent personality with strong communication and organisational skills
• High customer and service orientation as well as sensitivity to user needs
• Very good German skills and English skills (level B1-B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
