The Intercantonal University of Special Education (HfH) is the most important Swiss centre of expertise for special and remedial education with around 2,000 students. For the Institute of Language and Communication, we are looking for a committed individual from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.Your area of responsibility
- Participation in teaching, especially in the Master’s programme in School Remedial Education
- Involvement in continuing education and service assignments in the institute’s fields of expertise
- Participation in research and development projects in the institute’s fields of expertise
Your profile
- Completed Master’s degree in special education, speech therapy education, school remedial education, educational sciences with a focus on special education or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in the educational sector, for example as a special education teacher or school remedial educator, and/or initial research experience in remedial and special education topics
- Sound knowledge and particular interest in the area of language and communication as well as motivation to further develop your own professional profile in this field
- Interest in university teaching as well as involvement in continuing education, research and services
- Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team and willingness to take on increasing responsibility
