Quality and System Inspector*in Switchgear Construction

• You inspect switchgear systems for quality, safety, and compliance with standards before delivery
• You carry out electrical tests and measurements and document the results
• You check assembly, wiring, protective measures, labelling, and function
• You ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (SN EN 61439, SN EN 60204-1, NIN/NIV)
• You conduct internal approvals, FATs as well as customer approvals and accompany audits
• You identify defects, initiate rework, and verify its implementation
• You grant release for delivery and ensure that only flawless systems leave our premises
• In case of safety-relevant defects, you stop the release and coordinate the next steps with the responsible departments.

• You have a basic electrical engineering education, for example as an electrical installer EFZ, automation technician EFZ, electrical planner EFZ, or an equivalent qualification
• Further training in electrical safety, testing, quality assurance, or switchgear construction
• NIV control authorisation or equivalent qualification
• You have experience in switchgear construction, electrical engineering, or electrical testing
• You know the relevant standards and regulations or are willing to deepen your knowledge in these areas
• You work precisely, systematically, and with secure documentation
• You can safely use measuring and testing equipment
• You have a high safety awareness and take responsibility
• You communicate clearly and assert requirements factually, also towards production and project management.
