About the job
Job Description
A breath of fresh air is blowing through the site of the Directorate General of Agriculture, Viticulture and Veterinary Affairs (DGAV) in Grange-Verney, Moudon, with the Agripôles project, which aims to create a multidisciplinary centre of excellence for land-based professions. This major project involves reorganising spaces and activities, adapting infrastructures to users’ needs, and maintaining activities during the works.
To represent the DGAV’s needs throughout this project, we are looking for a user representative project manager capable of coordinating it from the users’ perspective. This person will work closely with the Directorate General of Buildings and Heritage (DGIP), which leads the project on the client side, as well as with the various DGAV entities and relevant partners.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute concretely to an innovative and structuring project for the future of agricultural training and research in the canton of Vaud. The person will have a direct impact on creating a place where different activities and users can coexist harmoniously, reconciling their needs and constraints while maintaining a long-term overall vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Agripôles project from the DGAV users’ perspective by identifying and coordinating the needs of the various entities, ensuring their consideration in the project, and maintaining the link with the DGIP
- Manage the DGAV’s real estate strategy by maintaining an overall vision of the property portfolio, analysing the entities’ needs, and contributing to planning its development
- Develop and integrate mobility solutions within the DGAV, notably between its different sites and within real estate projects, taking into account the needs of employees and users
- Serve as the interface between the DGAV and DGIP for real estate projects, particularly major investment projects, and coordinate the monitoring of needs related to the maintenance and development of buildings and infrastructures
- Ensure communication and monitoring of projects under your responsibility by regularly informing stakeholders of progress, key stages, and impacts, and acting as their point of contact for questions related to these projects

- Additional training in project management, change management and/or organisational transformation is an asset
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional experience in managing construction projects, ideally in the agricultural or educational sectors, providing a good understanding of the construction world and mastery of its terminology
- Excellent communication and simplification skills, as well as ease in coordinating between stakeholders from different sectors
- Ability to negotiate, seek compromises and unite stakeholders around shared solutions, with a view to finding positive synergies
- Capacity to work independently, manage multiple issues simultaneously and propose pragmatic solutions in a complex environment
