For one of our clients located in the Biel region, we are looking for a:

Bilingual French-German Medical Assistant (M/F/D) from 1st January 2027

Your mission

Your main responsibilities will notably include:

• Welcoming patients and ensuring professional, warm and caring support;
• Managing telephone calls and responding to various patient requests;
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments;
• Carrying out various administrative tasks related to patient file follow-up;
• Preparing consultations and assisting doctors as needed;
• Performing medical acts within the competencies of a medical assistant;
• Conducting, according to the organisation of the structure, blood draws, injections, ECGs, vital parameter checks and other common examinations;
• Preparing, maintaining and organising the equipment necessary for consultations;
• Ensuring proper communication of information between patients, doctors and various partners;
• Actively participating in the daily organisation and smooth running of the practice or medical structure;
• Respecting hygiene rules, confidentiality and internal procedures.

Your profile

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a medical assistant
• Previous professional experience in a medical practice, on-call service, clinic or care structure is an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of French and German, essential for communicating with a French-speaking and German-speaking patient base;
• Comfortable with both medical and administrative tasks;
• Good command of common IT tools;
• Welcoming attitude and excellent rapport with patients;
• Organised, reliable and conscientious personality;
• Ability to manage priorities and remain efficient during busier periods;
• Team spirit, flexibility and sense of responsibility;
• Discretion and absolute respect for confidentiality.
