What you can contribute
- Define Switzerland's position and defend it within multilateral bodies, participate in intergovernmental negotiations
- Analyse the development of international tax policy and its effects on Switzerland
- Participate in expert, working or advisory groups within projects
- Represent the office in discussions with economic circles and associations
- Prepare decision-making bases for the head of the office and the head of the department
What makes you unique
- University master's degree, preferably in law, economics or international relations, with relevant professional experience
- Mastery of national and international tax law applicable to companies and interest in political issues; ideally, knowledge in the field of minimum taxation of large companies (OECD minimum taxation) is required
- Reliability, assertiveness, team spirit, solution-oriented mindset, thoroughness, autonomy and organisational skills, especially regarding handling complex cases
- Excellent writing skills and outstanding analytical ability
- Very good knowledge of two official languages and English

The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SFI) is responsible for coordinating and strategically managing international financial, monetary and tax affairs and defending Switzerland's interests in these areas. It is also responsible for developing the basis of policy and regulation of financial markets as well as the Swiss tax location.
