- Take holistic responsibility for and further develop the department
- Responsible for the effective implementation and further development of agricultural law in the area of sustainable plant protection, variety management and variety protection
- Develop well-founded decision-making bases, cross-measure strategies and concepts for sustainable plant protection, variety management and variety protection
- Strengthen international cooperation and steer EU negotiations in the area of sustainable plant protection, variety management and variety protection
What makes you unique
- University degree (preferably in agronomy ETH or natural sciences) preferably with a doctorate
- Proven practical expertise in plant protection and plant production (CH)
- Strategic strength to translate complex topics into actionable solutions
- Enjoy shaping the future of plant production with a focus on plant protection and varieties
- Proven leadership experience
- Political acumen and appropriate handling of various stakeholders
- Confidence in negotiations (national and international)
- Very good knowledge of two official languages (and passive knowledge of the third official language as well as very good English skills)
