• Take holistic responsibility for and further develop the department
• Responsible for the effective implementation and further development of agricultural law in the area of sustainable plant protection, variety management and variety protection
• Develop well-founded decision-making bases, cross-measure strategies and concepts for sustainable plant protection, variety management and variety protection
• Strengthen international cooperation and steer EU negotiations in the area of sustainable plant protection, variety management and variety protection

What makes you unique

• University degree (preferably in agronomy ETH or natural sciences) preferably with a doctorate
• Proven practical expertise in plant protection and plant production (CH)
• Strategic strength to translate complex topics into actionable solutions
• Enjoy shaping the future of plant production with a focus on plant protection and varieties
• Proven leadership experience
• Political acumen and appropriate handling of various stakeholders
• Confidence in negotiations (national and international)
• Very good knowledge of two official languages (and passive knowledge of the third official language as well as very good English skills)
