You don’t just want to design IAM, but really advance it with clients? As a Senior Identity & Access Management Consultant, you take professional responsibility for demanding IAM projects – from analysis and strategy through to the target vision and implementation.

You move confidently between business, IT and management, develop viable concepts and can convincingly represent your decisions both in the steering committee and in technical detail. You work independently, take responsibility and actively contribute your know-how to the team.

Senior Identity & Access Management Consultant

• Responsible for IAM projects: You analyse the initial situation, develop target visions and roadmaps, and accompany their implementation with the client.

• Develop strategies and concepts: You develop IAM strategies, governance models, authorisation concepts, policies and processes.

• Advise stakeholders: You advise departments, IT and management, present decision bases and confidently represent your recommendations.

• Select and implement IAM solutions: From requirements gathering and evaluation through architecture to supporting implementation.

• Manage complexity: You coordinate dependencies between business, IT and external partners and ensure that all parties work towards a common goal.

• Pass on know-how: You support and mentor consultants in the team and contribute to the further development of the IAM offering as well as to the preparation of proposals.

• Several years of experience in consulting or implementing IAM projects, ideally with several years in a responsible role.

• Solid experience in developing IAM strategies, concepts, governance models, policies and processes.

• Confident understanding of relevant IAM standards and concepts, in particular:

  • Authentication and authorisation

  • OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML and SCIM

  • RBAC and ABAC

  • Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes

  • Recertification and access reviews

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)

• Strong business and IT understanding: You can translate between both worlds and make complex topics understandable.

• Experience with complex projects and heterogeneous stakeholder landscapes.

• Very good German and English skills.
