Your Tasks

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for organisational, personnel and educational areas and actively contribute to the further development of our school:

• Organisation and ensuring smooth school operations including responsibility for disciplinary matters
• Support and guidance of teachers as well as contact person for educational and organisational concerns
• Planning and coordination of substitute deployments
• Leadership and participation in projects for school and quality development
• Teaching activity (small workload) in a vocational subject of a commercial profession
• Coordination and maintenance of cooperation with professional associations and inter-company courses
• Active participation in the school management team of GBW, including representing the Commercial Education Centre Weinfelden internally and externally as well as maintaining relevant networks

Your Profile

• Teaching qualification as a full-time vocational subject teacher in a commercial profession
• Completed training as a school principal (EDK) or willingness to complete it
• Willingness to take responsibility and engage beyond the usual
• Enjoyment of organisational, educational and didactic challenges
• Experience in teaching as well as in leading employees or teams
• Strong digital competence, confident handling of school IT systems and learning platforms, as well as openness to digital developments and active shaping of digital processes in everyday school life
• Innovative spirit, patience, negotiation skills, assertiveness and strong leadership competencies
• Loyalty, team spirit and enjoyment of working in a large organisation
