Role:
Digital specialist applications and basic services need a solid foundation that does not arise by itself. This is exactly where the work as a DevOps Infrastructure Specialist comes in. Between server operation, automation, and cloud integration, solutions are created that combine stability and progress. Those who like to switch between classic system technology and modern DevOps practices bring exactly the right mix here.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the reliable operation of Linux and Docker environments including web servers, DNS, certificates, and databases
You take care of support and further development of web applications, including updates, plugins, and multisite operation
You actively shape automated deployment processes with Docker and GitHub Actions
You contribute your expertise on topics such as Kubernetes, logging, and monitoring to the platform architecture
You further develop login, permission, and backup concepts to increase security and operational stability
In addition, you manage virtualisation environments and hybrid resources in Microsoft Azure
Qualifications:
A degree in computer science with a focus on software engineering or an equivalent qualification forms your basis
Several years of experience with LAMP stacks, DNS, TLS certificates, load balancing, and backup solutions distinguish you
You are proficient in working with Linux and Docker, as well as with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Topics such as SSO, identity management, and permission concepts are familiar to you
Experience with Windows Server, VMware or Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure is part of your toolkit
In addition, you communicate confidently in German and move confidently in English
