To strengthen its Management department based in Crissier, McDonald’s Switzerland is looking to fill the role of: Sr Manager, Transformation (80–100%)
The Transformation Lead for Market drives the execution of McDonald’s transformation vision at market level, ensuring strategic alignment, disciplined execution, effective change management, and centralized project governance across Consumer, Restaurant, and Company platforms.
This role acts as a bridge between global transformation programs and local market execution, while establishing a centralized market view of all strategic and transformation initiatives. It ensures clear prioritization, transparency, and strong execution, enabling leadership to balance performance, transformation, and organizational capacity.
The Transformation Lead provides end‑to‑end visibility on market priorities, supports initiative sequencing, and strengthens execution discipline through consistent project and change management standards. The role may include direct or indirect reports and retains accountability for strategic direction and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Market Alignment
Coordinate market initiatives with enterprise vision and segment priorities. Integrate global programs (GBS, ArchOS, MCX, etc.) into market execution. Advocate for market needs and share best practices.
Market-wide Project & Portfolio Management
Own a centralized view of all strategic and transformation projects across the market. Govern the project portfolio with visibility on priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resources. Drive consistent project governance standards and facilitate prioritization with market leadership. Provide structured portfolio insights, identify overlaps and risks, and act as the coordination point between global, segment, and market initiatives to ensure a “One Market / One Portfolio” approach.
Deployment & Execution
Oversee planning and execution, track progress, manage risks, and ensure on‑time delivery. Apply value realization in partnership with project leads and CxOs.
Portfolio & Roadmap Management
Oversee the integrated market transformation roadmap across all three platforms. Act as liaison with global, segment, and market stakeholders, providing transparency on progress and resource needs.
Support Project Leads
Support project leads with governance setup, tools, guidance, and escalation support, based on project priority and strategic impact.
Drive Change – One McDonald’s Way
Coordinate change delivery using McDonald’s frameworks. Support market adoption plans, influence leaders to champion change, and build sustainable transformation capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with global, segment, and market partners. Escalate key risks, promote “share & steal” practices, and partner with COEs to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Advocacy, Capability Building & Communications
Support upskilling in change management, coach leaders on change execution and measurement, and coordinate market communications aligned with enterprise transformation guidance.
What You Need to Be Successful
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Change Management certification (PROSCI, ADKAR, or equivalent).
- 8+ years’ experience in project and change management, preferably in a global or matrixed environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, advisory, and coaching skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; English, French and German.
- Ability to balance global and local priorities, drive behavioral change, and deliver results through matrix teams.
