Exciting tasks await:

• First Contact: You are the point of contact for hardware and software, network and communication issues – with support from ICT services of other schools in complex cases.
• M365 Administration: You manage and optimise our Microsoft 365 cloud environment (Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Infrastructure: You actively shape the further expansion and operation of the ICT infrastructure for the school and the new building.
• Project Coordination with Responsibility: You coordinate collaboration and alignment with suppliers, consultants and external partners.
• Support: You are the first point of contact for teachers, staff as well as pupils regarding ICT questions. With your helpfulness, professional competence and clear communication, you ensure quick and solution-oriented support in first-level support.

What you bring:

• Education: IT specialist with a Federal VET Diploma (ideally specialising in platform development) – or equivalent expertise.
• M365 Knowledge: Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Educational Interest: You enjoy the school environment. You have an understanding of the requirements of the education sector and a strong service orientation.
• People Skills: You like people, communicate clearly and appreciatively, and respond openly to different concerns.
• Personality: You are proactive, think ahead and enjoy finding solutions. You work independently, take responsibility and keep an overview even in demanding situations.

Your Work Environment

The Kantonsschule Stein was opened in August 2025 in a provisional school facility in Stein, enabling pupils to benefit from a broad range of offerings in the grammar school and specialised secondary school in the Fricktal region.
The school will continuously grow until 2029, expand its educational offerings and move into the planned new building from 2029.
You will work in a small, motivated ICT team with another specialist. This position offers ideal conditions to specifically develop your professional and personal skills. IT resources are indispensable in modern teaching. You support teachers, staff and pupils in ICT use, further develop the digital school infrastructure and maintain it in operation. In doing so, you make an important contribution to the advancement of a contemporary and future-oriented school system.
