Test Manager / Test System Manager with Experience in GEVER / Acta Nova (22179 / 70-100%)

Task

For one of our clients from the Swiss federal administration environment, we are looking for an experienced individual in the field of test management and test system support for eGovernment solutions.
 
You will take on a central role in the planning, coordination, and support of the test environments and, together with development, operations, test and release management, ensure a stable and efficient test operation. You will operate in a demanding system landscape with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
 
Your tasks include:

• Support and coordination of test systems for eGov.Swiss
  
• Planning and coordination of the provision of test systems together with developers and operators
  
• Planning and coordination of the required test instances for installations and test activities
  
• Handling problem reports and coordinating fault resolution in the test and operational infrastructure
  
• Coordination of test activities with test managers and testers
  
• Supporting test managers in the execution and further development of test processes
  
• Review of test cases and active support in testing and quality assurance
  
• Provision of test clients and the required software
  
• Organisation and coordination of the necessary permissions
  
• Preparation, coordination, and leadership of release introductions and upgrades
  
• Assuming the role of test manager for specific official projects
  
• Close collaboration with service managers, release managers, development, operations, and other subject matter experts
  
• Participation in the development of test automation
  
• Taking over the automation solution in operation and further development
  
• Ensuring continuous knowledge transfer to the core organisation
  

If you have your own limited company or corporation in Switzerland, billing can be done through it. Otherwise, as usual, via payroll from IQ PLUS.Requirements

• Secondary level qualification according to the SBFI Swiss education system (e.g. apprenticeship) in the commercial field or IT sector and a further education qualification (NDS, CAS, DAS, MAS) in business informatics, IT or business administration OR tertiary level qualification according to the SBFI Swiss education system (technical college, university, university of applied sciences, higher technical school) in business informatics, IT or business administration OR tertiary level qualification according to the SBFI Swiss education system (technical college, university, university of applied sciences, higher technical school) and a further education qualification (NDS, CAS, DAS, MAS) in business informatics, IT or business administration

   

• At least one valid certificate from the following:

  - ITSQB Expert 

  - ITSQB Advanced or higher 

  - HERMES 5 Foundation or higher

• In-depth knowledge and many years of experience with ActaNova, e.g. in configuration, permission system, templates, etc.
• Many years of experience as a test and release/incident manager in a very complex, heterogeneous large-scale project. Proven experience in managing and conducting release coordination and successful introductions in an environment with many stakeholders and involved parties.
• Experience in the field of e-government (customer portals and web solutions) and good knowledge of CMS.
• Many years of experience in incident and problem management. Confident handling of Jira for ticket management, prioritisation and tracking of incidents and problems. Sound knowledge of Splunk for log analysis, error diagnosis, monitoring and root cause analysis.
• German language skills at least level C1
