As an ICT Application Engineer Siemens Opcenter, you optimise processes in production execution and actively shape the MES. In close collaboration with the specialist departments and key users, you develop cross-site solutions, manage interfaces and the technical labelling process, and participate in international projects.

Your main tasks

• Optimising and further developing workflows and processes in production execution
• Defining and elaborating future, cross-site requirements in the Siemens Opcenter environment in collaboration with the specialist departments
• Supporting and assisting the specialist departments and key users worldwide with application queries
• Being responsible for system settings and outputs considering strategic guidelines, including customising, reports, programming, release changes, tests, and system documentation
• Managing MES interfaces and the technical labelling process
• Testing and validating new processes according to GMP requirements
• Handling problems, changes, and incidents as well as coordinating external consultants and programmers in the application area
• Taking on sub-project management and collaborating in international projects
• Travel activity of 10-20% to our locations in Germany, the USA, and China

Your profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in supporting and further developing Siemens Opcenter including customising
• Ideally knowledge of NiceLabel
• Completed vocational training in computer science or a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
• Communicative, team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for cross-departmental collaboration and developing joint solutions
• German language skills at least at C1 level and English skills at least at B2 level
