To strengthen our team, we are looking for an analytically strong and entrepreneurial-minded individual as Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace Engineer (Person)*.

Your tasks – shaping the future together

• Operation & Development: You are responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of our Microsoft 365 platform (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID) as well as endpoint management (Intune/Autopilot) in a demanding and security-critical financial environment.

• Project Responsibility: You independently lead IT projects, such as cloud migrations, security initiatives, or the introduction of AI solutions, and actively help shape our IT roadmap together with the Head of IT.

• Deputy Head of IT: You take on responsibility and decision-making authority as deputy to the Head of IT and contribute to ensuring smooth IT operations.

• Cross-Team Support: You flexibly contribute to adjacent IT areas such as network, server, or support and ensure operational capability at all times together with the team.

• Security & Compliance: You implement modern security solutions such as Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of the reinsurance industry.

• Innovation: You drive the use of new technologies such as Microsoft Copilot as well as automation and AI solutions, thereby creating real added value for our specialist departments.

• Strategic Collaboration: You work closely with the Head of IT, coordinate external IT partners, and advise our specialist departments on the implementation of digital solutions.

Your roots and strengths

• Completed training or studies (HF/FH) in computer science or a comparable qualification with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

• At least five years of professional experience in the Microsoft environment (Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Security), ideally in a regulated industry such as financial services, insurance, or pharmaceuticals.

• Experience in leading and successfully implementing IT projects.

• Broad technical understanding as well as willingness to familiarise yourself with adjacent infrastructure topics (network, server, cloud).

• Independent, structured, and proactive working style with high personal responsibility as well as pronounced quality, security, and compliance awareness.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment of partnership-based collaboration under the motto "We think together".

• Very good German skills as well as good English skills (at least B2).

• Positive personality with high resilience, hands-on mentality, and the ability to keep an overview even in demanding situations.
