ICT System Engineer – Infrastructure & Business Applications 100 %

You are solution-oriented and want to apply your skills in a versatile way – from managing complex ICT infrastructures to active support and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Your tasks

• Administration, operation and further development of the Fortinet firewall and reverse proxy infrastructure including FortiAuthenticator
• Administration, operation and further development of the network and remote access infrastructure including VPN, core/distribution switching as well as connection to the disaster recovery centre
• Operation and further development of virtualisation, HCI and VDI environment including backup and recovery processes
• Installation, configuration, updating and replacement of hardware and software on clients, servers and connected ICT components
• Independent analysis and resolution of faults in client, server and network environments
• Handling ICT support requests and participation in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support
• Support, administration and further development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as well as analysis, coordination and implementation of requirements, user requests and permissions
• Administration of telephony, telephone system and mail flow
• Collaboration with external partners and 3rd level support in complex fault cases
• Participation in ICT projects in close cooperation with ICT management
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, instructions and user information

Your profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on platform development or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in ICT infrastructure and system engineering
• Practical experience with VMware and/or Nutanix HCI
• Experience with firewall, backup, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience in support or administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable ERP systems is an advantage
• Analytical thinking combined with a reliable and careful working style
• Service- and team-oriented, flexible and open to new technologies
• Very good German and good English skills
