The Swiss Refugee Council (SFH) is the leading refugee organisation in Switzerland and the umbrella organisation of refugee aid agencies and organisations. It advocates for the rights of people in need of protection and promotes understanding of their living situation. With its expertise, it shapes public debate and influences social and political frameworks.
The SFH operates a case management system in collaboration with a software development company, which is used by the legal representatives of our partner organisations in asylum procedures. To strengthen our database management, we are looking for you from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as
Specialist Responsible for Case Management System 60%-80% (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility:
- You take overall responsibility for the operation, support and further development of the case management system and coordinate all involved stakeholders.
- You ensure efficient support (2nd level), triage requests and coordinate collaboration with the external service provider.
- You analyse the requirements of partner organisations and translate them into prioritised, actionable development projects including budget overview.
- You coordinate the implementation of new functions as well as their testing, validation and documentation in compliance with data protection regulations. In addition, you independently carry out parameterisations in the system.
- You are responsible for reporting, data analyses and the further development of evaluations (e.g. Python, Power BI) as well as for licence and usage management.
- You continuously optimise processes and ensure the provision of contractually agreed services including service level monitoring and contract management.
Our requirements:
- You bring initiative, analytical thinking and coordination skills.
- You learn new tools quickly and use them confidently (e.g. Python, Power BI, M365).
- You have experience in IT coordination, software project management or second-level support.
- You have basic knowledge of data management, databases, web applications and data protection regulations (CH-DSG).
- You work carefully, structured and solution-oriented in a multicultural environment.
- You have excellent German and very good English skills; knowledge of French and Italian is an advantage.
