We are currently looking for an Operations & Project Engineer (m/f/d) for our air separation plant at the Muttenz (BL) site.
This is where you are in your element
- In this exciting role, you plan, operate, and monitor our bulk production plants, especially the Air Separation Unit (ASU) and ECOVAR plants, in close cooperation with the Linde Remote Operating Center (ROC) in Leuna
- Together with internal and external specialists, you ensure reliable plant operation as well as the required production quantity and product quality
- You plan, coordinate, and accompany maintenance and repair work on the production plants as well as the associated tank and cooling water systems
- In the event of technical malfunctions, you take over the local coordination of troubleshooting and ensure the efficient implementation of the necessary measures
- You analyse and optimise process engineering processes together with the ROC, thereby contributing to the continuous development of our production plants
- You plan and implement optimisation, conversion, and other technical projects, keeping an eye on deadlines, quality, and costs
- You instruct and professionally coordinate external employees and service providers when working on the production plants
- During commissioning, adjustment, and shutdown of the production plants, you support the ROC directly on site
- The seamless and comprehensible documentation of operating data and deviations as well as the careful maintenance of the required logbooks are also part of your responsibilities
- After your induction period, you participate in the on-call service approximately every four to five weeks. Technical issues can sometimes be resolved remotely, so an on-site deployment is not always necessary
- With your ideas, you support and initiate optimisation and digitalisation projects and actively shape the further development of our operational processes
The formula for your success
- You have a higher technical education or further training in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
- Ideally, you bring professional experience in operation, maintenance, or engineering of industrial production or process plants
- You have a good understanding of process engineering processes and the interaction of complex technical plants
- Experience in planning and implementing technical projects as well as dealing with project costs is an advantage
- A pronounced hands-on mentality and the willingness to solve technical issues directly at the plant complete your profile
- You enjoy working with various internal and external contacts and communicate clearly and reliably
- You like to take responsibility and bring the necessary flexibility to participate in the on-call service
- Good English skills enable you to collaborate professionally in a local and international environment
- You are also willing to face new challenges and actively contribute to the success of the company’s digital transformation project
What we offer you!
Look forward to a working environment that combines flexibility and modernity. Our working time models (40 h/week, part-time, home office) adapt to your needs. Benefit from attractive social benefits such as coverage of premiums for non-occupational accident and daily sickness allowance insurance, an additional child allowance, and REKA money.
