The Am Bach Retirement and Nursing Home in 4563 Gerlafingen is a family-run retirement and nursing home with 65 rooms for residents and employs around 90 staff. The home includes a public restaurant with around 40 seats.

Due to the retirement of the previous manager, we are looking for a committed individual as of 1 March 2027 or by arrangement for the position of

Institution Manager 80 – 100 %

Your tasks

• You live and convey mindful values and act as a present host with a pronounced joy in dealing with people.
• As institution manager, you implement the strategic goals of the board of trustees and bear overall operational responsibility for the facility.
• You manage the operation financially, personnel-wise, and administratively and take responsibility for accounting.
• You prepare and are responsible for the operating and investment budget as well as the annual financial statement.
• In the resident area, you are responsible for the admission of new residents.

Your profile

• You are an initiative-taking, independent, flexible, and communicative personality.
• Ideally, you have experience in the retirement and nursing home sector as well as proven leadership experience.
• You are resilient, open to new things, and motivated to actively and future-orientedly develop the operation further.
• You hold a qualification as an institution manager or a comparable management training as well as further education in business administration.
• Due to the responsibility of the role, this position is particularly aimed at individuals with many years of professional and leadership experience.
