Specialist in Day Nurseries and Family Day Care Organisations (Pedagogy, Business Administration and Quality) 80–90%

In this versatile role, you will actively shape the professional direction of kibesuisse. You will develop foundations and offerings further, advise members, maintain sustainable networks, and lead projects at the interface of practice, science, and authorities.

Your tasks

• You develop and implement measures for day nurseries and family day care organisations. Additionally, you contribute to the association's positions on industry-relevant topics.
• You develop and update professional publications, working materials, and services for the sector.
• You advise members and authorities on professional questions concerning quality, financing models, day nurseries, and family day care organisations.
• You maintain the professional network and organise specialist events. Furthermore, you promote internal and external knowledge transfer.
• You independently lead quality projects. You develop the QualiKita standard, the label, and the associated working tools together with the auditing company.
• According to your skills and professional experience, you take on additional roles in another focus area. In doing so, you are responsible for projects related to political and financial framework conditions or vocational education.

You bring with you

• A tertiary education in pedagogy, social work, social sciences, business administration, public management, or a comparable field.
• Sound knowledge of supplementary family education and care in Switzerland as well as ideally practical experience in day nurseries or family day care organisations.
• Good knowledge of the political, legal, and financial framework conditions, vocational education, and the state-political decision-making processes of supplementary family education and care in Switzerland.
• Strong conceptual skills and experience in developing quality foundations, standards, professional publications, working tools, or services.
• Experience in building sustainable networks and collaborating with members, authorities, politics, and professional organisations, as well as the ability to prepare complex topics in an understandable and practical manner.
• High initiative and self-organisation, enjoyment of agile and flat structures, and motivation to contribute in a holacratically managed organisation.
• Very good German skills and good French skills; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
