Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)
Our client is an established Swiss industrial company with an international focus and high expertise in mechanical and plant engineering. The company develops technically demanding system solutions and combines modern technologies with comprehensive engineering know-how. Responsibilities:
Participation in the introduction of new IT solutions and technical support of projects
Support of sales through technical input and evaluation of planned IT projects
Adjustment and maintenance of hardware, software, communication solutions, interfaces, and security components
Regular review of infrastructure and cybersecurity at customers
Maintenance and expansion of network environments as well as databases
Creation and updating of technical documents such as models, interface descriptions, test documents, user information, or emergency plans
Willingness to work on-call duty
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science, specialising in system technology
Many years of experience in classic infrastructure topics such as LAN, WAN, VPN, server, storage, and security
Familiar with Microsoft environments and Linux systems
Structured working method and strong organisational skills
Goal-oriented and confident negotiator
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
