Operations Worker Bio-Waste (Fixed Term 6 Months)

Tasks

• You are responsible for collecting and loading bio-waste in the City of Zurich, which is provided at the roadside and in containers in front of properties.
• You stand at the back of a waste collection vehicle in all weather conditions, empty collection containers and, if necessary, instruct your driver.
• You also work in other logistics departments as required.
• You undertake weekend and night shifts as needed (e.g. at festivals).

Profile

• Reliability, impeccable conduct within the team as well as with customers, good German language skills (level B1) and openness to other cultures and new things
• Very good physical condition and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Flexibility for special events and assignments in other logistics teams
• Completed training in a craft/technical field (EBA level)
• Category B driving licence advantageous
