Security depends on people who correctly assess alarms. As a SOC Analyst, you work in a Security Operations team and analyse suspicious incidents in various customer environments. You operate technically between Microsoft 365 (M365), Windows systems, and firewall infrastructures. Besides operational management, you contribute to projects and user awareness. Responsibilities:
You analyse security alerts, monitor the monitoring system, and handle alerts
You participate in incident response during security incidents and harden customer environments
You accept support requests and resolve them in 1st and 2nd level support
Additionally, you manage Windows environments, Microsoft 365 (M365), and VDI solutions
You also perform regular maintenance tasks
Furthermore, you conduct security awareness training and support IT projects
Qualifications:
You have experience in IT support, ideally in a service environment
Expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtual desktops, or firewall systems distinguishes you
You think analytically and keep an overview even with multiple open topics
Self-organisation and a structured working style are part of your approach
You show empathy and respect in dealing with customers and colleagues
Additionally, you communicate confidently in German and find the right words in English
