Vice Principal Basic Education

Your tasks

• You take responsibility for basic education and shape its pedagogical, organisational and quality-oriented further development.
• You lead and support teachers and create good conditions together with them for successful teaching and learning.
• You are responsible for the organisation of school operations and coordinate the overarching scheduling, room and resource planning.
• You initiate and accompany development and quality projects and bring new ideas into the further development of our school.
• You bear responsibility for examinations and qualification procedures.
• You maintain collaboration with training companies, the OdA Health and Social Affairs Thurgau, the inter-company courses as well as other partners in vocational education.
• As a member of the school management team, you help shape the development of the entire BfGS, support the principal and take on deputy tasks.
• With a small teaching load, you stay close to everyday school life and our learners.

Your profile

• You are familiar with vocational education and ideally have a connection to the health or social sector.
• You have teaching experience and the corresponding teaching qualification for secondary level II.
• You bring leadership experience and enjoy supporting, promoting employees and achieving goals together.
• You have already completed a school management training or are willing to do so.
• You think in networks, organise proactively and keep an overview even in a lively school environment.
• You communicate clearly and appreciatively, bring together different perspectives and make decisions with prudence.
• You are digitally proficient and enjoy further developing contemporary working, teaching and learning methods.
• You bring initiative, team spirit and the willingness to take responsibility for the BfGS as a whole.
