Your future employer is a larger institution for living, care and support in old age in the Bern region. For a specialised residential area for people with dementia, a deputy residential area manager 80–100 % is sought immediately or by arrangement.

You continue to work closely with the residents while simultaneously taking on an important role in the leadership and organisation of the residential area. In doing so, you support the residential area manager and lead a team of around 20 employees in their absence.

Between care and leadership you take on

• Deputise for the leadership of around 20 employees both professionally and personally and ensure professional care processes together with the residential area manager
• Coordinate and organise the daily care and ensure individual and empathetic support for around 40 residents
• Ensure reliable information flow between residents, relatives and care team and actively contribute to everyday care
• Take responsibility for care documentation according to RAI guidelines as well as planning and monitoring of RAI-NH assessments and classifications

You bring with you

• Qualification as FaGe EFZ, Dipl. Nurse HF/FH, DN II, AKP or Psych. KP as well as experience in long-term and dementia care
• Leadership experience and appropriate management training or willingness to complete it
• RAI supervisor or willingness to acquire the corresponding qualification
• Good German skills as well as pronounced professional, social and leadership competence, organisational talent and resilience
