Phytax GmbH is an independent Swiss analytical laboratory focusing on herbal medicines, dietary supplements, and natural substances.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a laboratory technician (100%) with experience in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and/or ICP-MS, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

• Conducting chemical and physical routine analyses in compliance with GMP, ISO, and similar standards, with a focus on HPLC and/or ICP-MS
• Assisting in the development, validation, and application of new analytical methods, especially in the field of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and/or ICP-MS
• Evaluating and documenting analysis results in compliance with the Out of Specification process and deviation management
• Defining and ensuring the qualitative properties of samples and ensuring quality requirements
• General laboratory work with various devices and techniques (e.g. DC, IR, wet chemistry)

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in chemistry, physics, pharmacy, food technology, biotechnology, or a related discipline
• Experience with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and/or ICP-MS is mandatory
• Knowledge of other analytical techniques (e.g. DC, wet chemical methods) is a plus
• High precision and sense of responsibility in laboratory work
• Experience in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 17025) and pharmaceuticals
• Very good IT skills (MS Office, LIMS)
• Team orientation, good communication skills, and flexibility in everyday laboratory work
• Interest and enjoyment in working with plant substances and natural products
