An experienced engineering professional is sought for the operation and further development of complex Linux and container platforms. The focus is on automation, observability, logging and the reliable operation of central infrastructure components.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of Splunk, Cribl as well as logging and analysis platforms
Support of monitoring and observability solutions with Zabbix, Grafana and Prometheus
Engineering of modern Kubernetes and container platforms
Automation and standardisation with Ansible
Support of databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB and MySQL
Participation in infrastructure projects, changes and rollouts as well as 3rd-level support
Participation in on-call duty within the team
Qualifications:
Several years of experience with complex Linux, container and platform environments
IT training, degree or comparable qualification
Solid Linux knowledge and very good Ansible practice
Experience with Splunk or Cribl as well as monitoring and observability technologies
Kubernetes knowledge and ideally experience with Rancher, Helm, ArgoCD, HAProxy or Traefik
Basic knowledge of relational databases
Python or Go knowledge is an advantage
Very good German and good English
