School Secretary

The Bündner Cantonal School is an important educational institution with about 1,000 students in all three cantonal languages. As a department of the Office for Higher Education, it offers secondary school programs at the long- and short-term gymnasium as well as at the specialized, commercial, and computer science secondary schools. The school secretariat is the first point of contact for students and parents, handles central processes of the annual school operations, and supports the management in administrative tasks as well as in the implementation of various projects.
We are looking for a school secretary for our secretariat starting August 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Co-responsibility for various administrative tasks of the school secretariat
- Providing information at the counter and on the phone
- Handling general correspondence
- Supervision of various areas of school administration
- Supporting the rectorate in administrative activities
- Various changes and planning work in the school administration software
- Challenging minute-taking
- Evaluations and creation of statistics
- Organization of school events and creation of presentations
- A completed vocational training as a commercial clerk EFZ or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience
- Confident German language skills; knowledge of other cantonal languages is an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office programs and a detail-oriented working style
- Reliable and service-oriented personality who enjoys working in a small team and maintains a pleasant interaction with the various stakeholders of the school (students, teachers, staff, parents).
