- Prepare and lead Federal Council and parliamentary business
- Create official, departmental and Federal Council reports and conceptual foundations in legislative projects
- Represent the area in parliamentary consultations and working groups within the federal administration
What makes you unique
- University degree (Master's) in humanities, social sciences or economics
- Experience in managing complex, interdisciplinary projects in a political environment with divergent stakeholder interests
- Sound knowledge of federal politics, Federal Council and parliamentary business and interest in family policy topics
- Independent and reliable work in an interdisciplinary team and analytical, abstract and networked thinking skills as well as resilience
- Good active knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of a third official language
In a nutshell
The Family Issues division of the FSO is the specialist office for family policy topics at the federal level. It is particularly responsible for the federal laws on family allowances and for promoting institutional family-supporting childcare.
