Your tasks
- You lead and implement demanding projects around telecommunications, networks and security and accompany them from planning to successful implementation
- You independently plan, implement and commission network, backbone and security solutions
- You ensure the reliable operation of our telecommunications and network infrastructure and take care of maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting
- You always keep an eye on network security in the areas of backbone, network management and remote access and continuously develop it further
- You support and document our backbone, network and customer connections as well as the network management systems used
- In the ISMS you represent the telecommunications and IT/OT networks department and actively participate in the implementation of the ICT minimum standard
- With your commitment in fault, on-call and availability service, you make an important contribution to the safe and reliable network and telecommunications operation
Your profile
- Your educational background includes a completed vocational training EFZ in the field of computer science, telematics or electrical engineering
- Ideally, you have a degree from a Higher Technical School (HF) or University of Applied Sciences (FH) in computer science, systems engineering, telecommunications, electrical engineering or a comparable field
- You bring several years of professional experience in network and communication technology and feel at home in complex technical infrastructures
- You are very familiar with Cisco network technologies and ideally hold a corresponding certification, such as CCNA. You are also proficient in handling firewall systems
- You also have experience with network management systems (NMS) as well as knowledge in cyber security and IT/OT security
- You are familiar with the ICT minimum standard and enjoy implementing security requirements in practice
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills for technical documentation, support cases and communication with manufacturers complete your profile
