Product Owner - S2P Platform & Procurement Digitalisation (w/m/d)

About the job

In this role as Product Owner for Migros' indirect procurement platform - our S2P solution covering the entire procurement process from requisition to invoicing - you work at the interface between the business unit, IT and external partners, actively shaping how we integrate AI and automation into our procurement processes.

What you will achieve

• Customer focus: You represent the customer and user needs within the agile team and communicate the added value of the requirements
• Implementation: You are responsible for the implementation of features and stories based on the product strategy and manage the backlog for priority-, time- and content-appropriate execution
• Story definition: Together with the team, you define stories, describe acceptance criteria and coordinate dependencies
• Planning: You organise sprints and PI cycles in coordination with the Scrum Master, Product Management and relevant stakeholders
• Transparency: You create clarity about risks, impediments and dependencies, moderate agile forums and drive the continuous improvement of the platform, including the evaluation of new technologies such as AI-supported automations
• Automation: You identify potentials for the use of AI and automation (e.g. intelligent document processing, spend analysis, supplier scoring) and incorporate these as concrete requirements into the roadmap

What you bring

• Education: Advanced technical college
• Field: Business and/or technical education at advanced technical college level or equivalent
• Professional experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an S2P, P2P or ERP environment (e.g. Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar)
• Demonstrated practical experience in purchasing / procurement / process management / project management (waterfall / agile), business analysis, requirements engineering (preferably from large companies)
• In-depth understanding of procurement and (financial) processes in systems/applications as well as a "bridge builder" between business requirements/business value and reliable application operation
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and eProcurement solutions
• Experience with agile working methods, ideally with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Certification in the role of Product Owner is an advantage
• High initiative and ability to recognise the need for action early, create orientation in complex situations and drive topics forward - even without detailed specifications or established procedures
• Openness and initial practical experience with AI tools in a professional context (e.g. process mining, prompt engineering for process optimisation)
