Intern Energy, Climate and Resources

Your contribution to our team

You engage with various topics in the field of energy, climate and resources. In doing so, you support our interdisciplinary teams in project work on issues related to electromobility, power distribution networks, energy efficiency, renewable energies, energy policy, electromobility and power distribution networks, climate protection and adaptation, as well as sustainability. The internship starts in September or October 2026 and lasts 5–6 months. We only consider applications from persons who must complete a compulsory internship as part of their studies.

Your skills

  • In a master’s degree programme with a completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following fields: environmental natural sciences, environmental engineering sciences, Energy Science and Technology, or mechanical engineering
  • Open-minded and committed personality with networked thinking skills and an independent working style
  • Interest and enjoyment in working on diverse tasks in the areas of electromobility, power grids, energy efficiency and renewable energies
  • Confident in the German language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A flair for quantitative analyses and experience with R (or Python) is a great advantage
