The cantonal child and adult protection authorities (KESB) ensure the welfare and protection of people in need. For the KESB Thal-Gäu/Dorneck-Thierstein we are looking for a Caseworker KESB, 40% from 01.11.2026 or by arrangement at the Balsthal or Breitenbach location.
Your responsibilities
- As an employee of the KESB office, you handle all administrative tasks that arise.
- You manage files and ensure their completeness, support the office management in planning KESB meetings, independently prepare cases and orders according to the office management’s instructions, and handle correspondence.
- In your role, you conduct business control and ensure the proper provision of administrative structures.
- Additionally, counter and telephone service as well as mail dispatch are part of your duties.
Your profile
- You have a commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience in child and adult protection as well as knowledge of civil procedural or administrative law procedures and administrative experience are advantageous.
- A proficient use of IT tools is required.
- You are a resilient, performance-oriented, and honest individual with high social competence.
