SAP FI/CO Consultant / SAP S/4HANA (Freelance) (m/f)

Your challenge

• Owning the local implementation of SAP Finance processes in SAP S/4HANA

• Define business requirements and brief IT for development

• Stakeholder and Spokesperson for Local Team towards IT and process owners

• Supervise and collaborate with the respective teams in the end to end processes from a finance perspective for Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) Financial processes within SAP S/4HANA

• Ensuring end-to-end consistency across SAP finance and integration points

• Troubleshoot complex finance-related issues during SAP implementation and stabilization phases

• Act as a senior advisor to finance stakeholders during SAP transformation milestones

• Supporting and validating migration of financial master and transactional data

• Execute and support testing cycles (SIT/UAT)

• Supporting SAP go-live preparation and cutover

• Support hyper-care and support the local SAP users in all related business continuity activities

• Contribute to documentation, process design, and knowledge transfer activities

• Providing practical training to finance and related topics for other departments in sales and service

Your qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations / rollouts

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and SAP CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, CO-PA)

• Experience with the SAP PS module

• Solid understanding of integration points with SAP MM and SAP SD

• Experience in Revenue Accounting and Recognition (RAR) is a plus

• Experience across full project lifecycles (including testing, go-live, and hypercare)

• Strong stakeholder communication skills

• Independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style with strong delivery focus

• Ability to work effectively in hybrid or remote project environments and perform under pressure

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning (Sales & Service) is beneficial

• Swiss residency and valid work permit required

• Fluent in German and English
