You want to understand what lies behind a suspicious log entry. In the role of Windows & Security Administrator, you manage IT environments of various customers and ensure that attack surfaces are reduced. The working day combines classic operations with security topics, from alarm handling to system hardening. Technically, you operate around Microsoft 365 (M365), Windows servers, virtual desktops and firewall systems. Continuing education is part of everyday life here, not the exception.
Responsibilities:
You check incoming security alerts and initiate appropriate measures
In the event of an incident, you support incident response and close security gaps in customer systems
You handle 1st and 2nd level requests and coordinate open tickets until resolution
In addition, you maintain Windows environments, Microsoft 365 (M365) and VDI platforms
Planned maintenance windows and monitoring system observation are also part of your tasks
You also train users on security topics and take on tasks in IT projects
Qualifications:
You have already worked in IT support and are familiar with ticket systems
You have expertise in Microsoft environments, desktop virtualisation or firewall technologies
You break down complex error patterns into small steps and work through them systematically
Furthermore, you plan your tasks independently and set sensible priorities
You present yourself in a friendly and reliable manner in contact with customers and within the team
You also have a high level of German and are comfortable with English
