Operational Purchasing Employee 100 %

Your responsibilities:

• Handling operational purchasing for production materials.
• Processing part changes and supporting quality assurance in case of supplier errors.
• Ongoing scheduling of the assigned article range as well as monitoring deadlines for orders, call-offs from quantity contracts, order confirmations and compliance with delivery dates.
• Occasional invoice checks and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
• Handling and monitoring the processing of error reports and missing parts.
• Maintaining creditor and material master data in the operational area.
• Assisting in the training of commercial apprentices.

Your background:

• You have either completed a technical education and have a strong commercial understanding, or a commercial education with technical understanding.
• You have experience in operational purchasing including materials management; ideally, you have completed relevant further training.
• You are a communicative personality and know how to professionally manage daily interactions with suppliers.
• You are confident in dealing with internal and external contacts both verbally and in writing; you are proficient in German and English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ideally SAP R/3 (Procurement and Materials Management modules).
