The HR department of the city of Schaffhausen is the central specialist and advisory office for the entire city administration. We support managers and employees in all personnel matters and continuously develop our HR work.

HR Partner

In this exciting role

• you are the central HR contact person and sparring partner for the managers of your assigned areas
• you accompany and advise managers and employees throughout the entire HR life cycle
• you support demanding personnel issues, leadership topics and change processes
• you accompany the recruitment of specialists and managers together with the line and our recruiting team
• you provide competent advice on personnel and labour law issues
• you support your areas in personnel planning, organisational development, performance appraisal and other HR topics
• you recognise developments and the need for action early and contribute concrete solutions
• you work closely with HR Services, Recruiting, Personnel Development and other HR specialist departments
• you implement personnel policy, personnel strategy and HR regulations in your areas
• you contribute to HR projects as well as to the further development and standardisation of our HR processes

You will be successful here

• with a recognised further qualification in HR, for example a federal specialist certificate or a comparable qualification at FH level
• with several years of solid experience in an advisory HR role
• with good knowledge of Swiss labour and social security law
• due to your independent, structured and responsible way of working
• with strong communication and advisory skills, empathy and the necessary assertiveness
• if you approach change openly, quickly recognise connections and like to actively help shape things
• and last but not least with a good dose of composure and humour
