Deputy Head of Nursing Service – Uznach Location

To strengthen our team at the Uznach location, we are looking for a committed and responsible deputy head of nursing service. In this role, you will support the head of nursing service in professional and organisational leadership and assume the corresponding deputy role in their absence.

Area of responsibility:

• Deputising for and supporting the head of nursing service at the Uznach location
• Co-responsibility for the professional and organisational leadership of the nursing team
• Creation, coordination and ongoing adjustment of deployment and tour planning
• Ensuring demand-oriented and economical personnel deployment planning
• Organisation of short-term changes in case of absences, illness or changed client situations
• Conducting needs assessments and evaluations
• Planning, controlling and evaluating the nursing process
• Implementation and coordination of complex basic and treatment care
• Professional support and assistance to employees
• Support in case discussions and complex nursing situations
• Collaboration with doctors, relatives, insurers, hospitals and other specialist agencies
• Ensuring complete and professional nursing documentation
• Co-responsibility for nursing quality, hygiene, safety and compliance with internal standards
• Participation in the introduction and support of new employees
• Participation in internal training and the professional development of the team
• Support in the further development of the Uznach location and regional nursing services
• Taking on leadership and coordination tasks in the absence of the head of nursing service

Your profile:

• Diploma as a nursing specialist HF or FH or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Professional experience in nursing, preferably in outpatient care / Spitex
• Interest or experience in a deputy leadership role
• Good knowledge of nursing planning, nursing documentation and nursing process
• Experience in deployment and tour planning is an advantage
• Organisational skills and sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Enjoyment in working with employees, clients and external specialist agencies
• Good command of German, spoken and written
• Driving licence category B is an advantage
