The Directorate of Social Cohesion, Housing and Public Safety of the City of Morges includes various offices, including the Office of Social Cohesion to which Espace Couvaloup is attached, a social work and activity centre of the City of Morges that offers various activities throughout the year as well as neighbourhood events for the general public. Espace Couvaloup is looking to fill a position of:

Youth Sector Manager at 80%

Main tasks:

• design, lead and monitor projects responding to the needs of young people and coordinate the City’s youth projects
• supervise and coordinate the team of social workers and instructors, organise and plan activities, conduct recruitment processes and ensure the follow-up and evaluation of collaborators.
• promote access to socio-cultural and sporting activities, and carry out prevention, information and support actions
• manage the administrative sector, prepare the budget and monitor expenses
• collaborate with youth partners and the local social work team
• manage equipment, space layout and material purchases.

We are looking for:

• University of Applied Sciences degree in social work or community health, or equivalent training and continuing education in team management;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in animation and project management, and regular practice with a young audience
• proven experience in team supervision and management
• CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) as a trainer practitioner (PF), an asset
• knowledge of Vaud social systems and the youth-related associative network
• availability for flexible and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
