Modern Workplace Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
For the IT department of our partner, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as a committed support to the team as a Modern Workplace Specialist.
Our partner challenges you with exciting tasks and supports you with training opportunities and the chance to develop internally. We will be happy to explain more in a personal conversation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring operational reliability in the areas of client systems, software distribution systems, and virtual client platforms
- Continuous development of the services and solutions and technologies used
- 2nd and 3rd level support for incidents, service requests, and change processes
- Implementation of business requirements in the area of workplace management
- Realising concepts for tuning and performance tasks as well as identifying and resolving/bridging fault conditions in hardware, software, and communication components
- Capturing the needs and expectations of clients; developing solution proposals and decision bases based on the captured requirements
- Installing, generating, adapting, integrating, testing, and releasing new hardware, operating, universal, and standard software
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in larger IT environments (workplace management department)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft server systems, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), and Microsoft SCCM
- Good knowledge of Office 365, Azure AD, networking, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and PKI (advantageous) as well as experience with virtualisation platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Windows Virtual Desktop on Azure – an advantage
- Experience working with sourcing providers
- Experience in infrastructure automation using PowerShell
- Experience in managing IT projects
- Very good German oral and written skills (native language)
